Will my members get double-billed?
To ensure double-billing doesn't happen, make sure that all plans are canceled in your Stripe Account.
Will the bill dates and membership information transfer?
No. You'll need to assign memberships & bill dates to each member. You can use our Import Wizard to streamline this process.
Will my members be transferred?
No. Stripe will only transfer over the credit card and bank account information. For everything else, you will need to use our Bulk Member Import Tool to upload member information only or Full Import Wizard where you can upload memberships and member data.
Can I connect my current Stripe Account with Xplor Studio?
No. your current Stripe account is a different account type and we are unable to merge it into Xplor Studio. You'll need to Create a New Stripe Merchant Account with Xplor Studio and then transfer the cc/ach information to Xplor Studio.
Will I lose my information in my Individual Stripe Account when I transfer information?
No. You will not lose any information as the data is copied over to the new account and the information will be in both.
If I have a loan on my Individual Stripe Account, can I transfer the loan to the new Stripe Account?
No. The loan is attached to the Individual Stripe Account and we are unable to merge the two accounts. For more information, please reach out to Stripe at support@stripe.com.
How long does a billing transfer take?
On average it takes an estimated 4 weeks; however, this could be more or less. Stripe takes a minimum of 10 days; however, it can be delayed based on when you cancel and request a transfer with your current platform and how long they take to release the data.
Stripe Individual: ~1-2 weeks
Stripe Express / Custom: ~4-5 weeks
GoEmerchant: ~7-8 weeks
PaySimple: ~4-5 weeks
Transnational: ~4-5 weeks
