We understand that sometimes non-members want to register multiple participants for an event using the same email address. While our system doesn't currently allow multiple registrations with the same email address, we've got a tip to help our Users out!

In this article, we'll demonstrate how to work around this limitation and ensure that event participants still receive all the important notifications. Let's dive in!Using the "+" Symbol for Email Address Variation:

To register multiple participants, such as a mother and her children, while using the same email address, you can leverage a simple trick with the "+" symbol. Here's how it works:

1) Use the base email address: Let's say the mother's email address is "mother@gmail.com [mother@gmail.com]". This will be the primary email address to use for registration.

2) Add a "+" symbol and a unique identifier: For each additional participant, you can insert the "+" symbol followed by a unique identifier just before the "@" symbol in the email address. For example, you could use "mother+daughter@gmail.com" or "mother+son@gmail.com"

3) Enjoy seamless registration: By using this technique, non-members can successfully register multiple participants, each with a slightly different email address variation, while still receiving notifications to the primary email address.

Why Does It Work? Our messaging resource is smart enough to recognize and ignore anything after the "+" symbol in an email address when sending messages. This means that no matter how many variations of the email address is used, the notifications will always be delivered to the primary email address.
