Xplor Triib and Triib Legacy Parity

There's a lot of new functionality to navigate with Xplor Triib, and some of the tools and features of Legacy Triib have been migrated differently to the new Xplor Triib platform.

This document is intended as a reference guide for assisting Triib clients during and after migration to better understand these changes and set up their new Xplor Triib account to most accurately match the look and feel of their business.

Formerly Known As: Programs
Now Found in: Services -> Memberships/Packages and Classes/Appointments

The short version: Programs restricted access to certain class types and Workout Sections. Now, access to workout programs is determined on the Membership/Package level. Memberships also determine what classes/appointments a client can book- this can be selected on the Class Type or Appointment Type.

Don’t forget to enable “Allow Online Sign-up" or “Allow Online Purchase” for your Services if you want them to be accessed by your members!


Formerly Known As: Coaches Corner
Now Found in: Programming

The short version: You no longer need to create pre-made sections to write workouts. Programming now uses blocks of Movements, Workouts, and Media. This gives far more flexibility for creating different programs. You can easily create multiple program tracks and launch the TV display from this area.

Formerly Known As: Liability Waiver
Now Found in: Settings -> Member Area -> Member Form Setup

The short version: Member Forms have an array of new customization options. You can also have multiple forms with options to force signatures or keep them passively for use when needed.

Formerly Known As: Messaging
Now Found in: Messaging and Notifications

The short version: Xplor Triib offers a major communication addition – automated text message notifications. Notices that you want the platform to automatically send when certain criteria are met can be done from the notifications area. Manual emails, texts, and app comms are sent from Messaging.

Legacy Triib allowed for custom templates to be saved for future communication use. Xplor Triib does not have the ability to save custom templates- only those found under Settings -> Templates can be configured. However, Xplor Triib’s Marketing Automation add-on allows you to save custom templates (both email, texts and tasks) to use in multi-step drip campaigns.

Formerly Known As: Triib Settings
Now Found in: Settings -> Member Area, Invoicing, etc

The short version: The Settings are separated into appropriate categories to make it simple to locate where you can make changes to adjust a certain behavior in your account.
Member Area: Options to affect what your members can and cannot do. Global booking rules and member account settings live here.
Invoicing: Formatting options on invoices and your general tax rates are found in this section.
Notifications: Enable or disable which notifications are sent to your staff or your members, similarly, like Alerts in Legacy Triib.
Templates: Change the default language on the Notifications that are delivered to members.
Other: Miscellaneous items, such as creating Categories (used to organize your Services Templates) and having select options ticked by default.

Formerly Known As: Staff
Now Found in: Settings -> Staff

The short version: Very similar to Legacy Triib, you can set the permissions each Staff member has to perform certain functions or access different modules of the software. You can also allow your staff to designate their available hours on the schedule. Members can see a Staff member’s availability when booking Appointments and you will also see alerts when Staff are scheduled outside their designated working hours.

Formerly Known As: Workout History (for Members)
Now Found in: Mobile app (Member side)

The short version: Athlete workout history is not migrated through the import process. It is important to communicate to your members how to add the records most important to them for progress tracking. Movements and Benchmark workouts can be easily added from the mobile app.

Formerly Known As: Family Accounts
Now Found in: Members -> Member Profile

The short version: Family accounts are an ideal feature for parents who need to manage the activities and payments of their children. These are the following reasons why a family account may be necessary:

  1. Family members are sharing class/appointment credits on the same package or plan

  2. Dependent does not have an email or payment method and must share the Parent’s

  3. Parent needs control to sign-up dependents for bookings

Family accounts are not seamlessly migrated, and dependent profiles must be re-added under a parent account. From the intended parent account:

  • Navigate to Family Accounts

  • Add a new profile for a dependent.

  • Next, navigate to the newly created dependents account

  • Click “Edit” under account details (pen and pad icon)

  • This will create a new account for you to set up as a dependent on the family account.
