To set your tax rates, head to Settings > Invoicing and scroll to the bottom of this page and fill out your tax info.
Make sure to first check off "Enable sales tax". Once checked off, you can enter the name of the tax (this will display on invoices), tax rate, and mark the tax rates as inclusive or exclusive of tax.
Setting Global Tax Rate will apply the same tax rate % across all services: Plans, Packages, Retail & Custom Invoices
Uncheck the Global Tax Rate to apply a different tax rate for a particular service. You can apply the global rate to some services and customize the tax rate to another service.
Example:
If you do not charge tax on some services but not on others, enter 0 as the tax rate 0.
Example 1:
Global Rate: 0% for package and membership
Retail Tax Rate: 5%
Example 2:
Global Rate: 6.5% for memberships and retail
Package Tax Rate: 0%
